What is new in the Sybiz Vision V21.05

As you already know, Version 21 of the Sybiz Vision is focused on versatility and security. There are many new features and functions in the V21 and you can check all of them by clicking on here.
The version 21.05 of Sybiz Vision has been released due a number of fixes and improvements such as:
- Payroll journal export issue identified in version 21.03 and 21.04
- The way in which deposits in pay and process are managed
- Microsoft.NET Framework, operating system compatibility and more.

Transaction template security
The ability to add, edit or delete transaction templates and layouts are now able to be restricted to specific users. This is done via role permission settings giving businesses greater control over transaction modifications and updates.
Deposits in Pay and Process
The negative and positive nature of deposits has changed prior to version 20.10. If you have customised reports or transaction documents that are displaying deposit information, these will need to be adjusted. Please speak to us if you need any assistance.
Upgrades to Microsoft.NET Framework
This new version of Sybiz Vision utilises Microsoft.NET Framework version 4.6. You may require updating if you are upgrading from a Sybiz Vision version older than 19.00. Older operating systems may also be required to download .NET updates prior to installation of Sybiz 20+.
Operating system compatibility
Some operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, some versions of Microsoft Windows Vista and Microsoft Server 2003 and Microsoft SQL Server (2008/2008R2) are not compatible with Sybiz 21.05. Please contact us if you are uncertain of the operating system you have.
Multi-Factor Authentication for Microsoft Office 365
Sybiz users are able to utilise this additional security within their solutions from version 20.10. Basic Authentication will continue to be available in Sybiz solutions, but be aware the Basic authetication will be disable in the second half of 2021 by Microsoft.
